SEAQUAM STUDENT COUNCIL

The Kendo Club meets on Fridays afternoons, from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Practice is in the school gymnasium. The club offers an introduction to the sport of kendo. Participants will learn basic hitting techniques, equipment usage and repair, and kendo mannerisms. It’s free to join however the bamboo swords required for practice costs between twenty and thirty dollars. Should you wish to buy armour at a later date, the price starts at about three hundred dollars.  The sponsor teacher is Mr. Shirran. In order to join you must read and sign the permission form and return it to him directly.
